When I was in college I started painting because I wanted to decorate my apartment on a tight budget. After years of creating art for just myself, I grew a tiny business taking custom orders for home and pet portraits. As much as I loved painting on canvas, it became physically taxing on me when I was pregnant with my daughter. I bought an iPad and started illustrating on Procreate after my daughter was born.
